Hi! I'm Melissa!
When I was in Kindergarten, my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up.
“An artist,” I said.
She raised an eyebrow. I’m sure she was remembering the green sheep I colored for the class nativity scene at Christmas. “Maybe he was rolling in the grass,” she said before pinning it in the corner and behind another white sheep. I shrugged. I really wanted to color Baby Jesus and what fun is coloring white paper white?
Since then I have traded my crayons for pixels and vectors, creating patterns and illustrations with aspirations of my work appearing on products in the paper goods and gift industries.
I want to work with you to create illustrations that will delight your customer with as much joy I had creating it.
When I’m not drawing, I am exploring other creative passions like jewelry making, photography and sewing. My husband and I are raising our teenage twins in Wisconsin.
